The Role

The Mason (Pool & Hardscape) is responsible for high-quality masonry works related to pools and surrounding external areas, including blockwork, screeds, copings, tiling, and paving. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute masonry works for pool shells, pump rooms, chambers, and external hardscape
• Carry out tiling and copings to pools, decks, and related structures as per drawings and specifications
• Prepare and apply screeds, plasters, and bedding layers to required levels and slopes
• Coordinate with waterproofing, MEP, and finishing teams to sequence works properly
• Follow site instructions, method statements, and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a mason in pool, villa, or external works
• Good knowledge of pool tiling, copings, and finishes
• Ability to work from drawings and set out lines and levels with guidance
• Strong focus on detail, quality, and clean workmanship.
