The Role

The Plumber (Pool & MEP) installs and maintains pool-related plumbing systems including circulation pipework, fittings, filtration connections, and associated MEP works. The role focuses on leak-free, durable installations that meet manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install pool plumbing networks including suction, return, backwash, and balance tank lines
  • Install and connect pumps, filters, valves, heaters, and basic pool MEP components
  • Pressure-test lines, identify leaks, and carry out rectification before backfilling and finishes
  • Coordinate with civil, waterproofing, and electrical teams to sequence works correctly
  • Follow drawings, method statements, and safety procedures when working in confined spaces and around chemicals

Skills and Experience Required

  • 3+ years’ experience as a plumber in pool, MEP, or similar construction environments
  • Robust understanding of pool plumbing, valves, and filtration systems
  • Ability to read basic MEP drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of safety practices related to pressure testing and handling pool chemicals.
